About the Role

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Senior Manager, People + Operations is a hands-on, cross-functional role responsible for leading the day-to-day functioning of the organization across people, operations, and governance. This role ensures staff have the tools, environment, and processes needed to do their best work, while working across teams to streamline workflows and strengthen organizational effectiveness.  Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Senior Manager, People + Operations (Senior Manager) is a hands‑on, cross‑functional leader responsible for ensuring the smooth, effective day‑to‑day functioning of the organization across people, operations, and governance. This role plays a central part in building a strong internal foundation, ensuring staff have the tools, systems, support, and environment they need to do their best work.

The Senior Manager collaborates closely with teams across the organization to streamline workflows, strengthen operational processes, and enhance organizational effectiveness. The Senior Manager oversees core people‑operations functions such as HR administration, recruitment support, onboarding, performance processes, and workplace culture initiatives. In addition, they provide operational leadership by managing key administrative systems, engaging in cross‑departmental projects, and ensuring organizational policies, procedures, and governance practices are current, compliant, and aligned with strategic priorities.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced human resource professional with a proven record of expertise across all facets of human resources. The preferred candidate will have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in operations, human resources, or a similar cross-functional role leading teams and managing department-level functions; a CPHR designation or equivalent is an asset. This position requires excellent communication, interpersonal, and client service skills with the ability to work across teams to set goals, resolve issues, and support decision making. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.

The salary for this position is $82,000 – $90,000 annually.
